Sinds de opkomst van Graffiti in de jaren 80, kent Eindhoven een levendige Street Art Scene. Op verschillende plekken in de stad (o.a. Strijp S en de Berenkuil) zijn prachtige werken te vinden. Creativiteit viert hier hoogtij. De kleuren knallen van de muur!
Het Insulindeplein, de Berenkuil in de volksmond, is door de gemeente Eindhoven officieel benoemd tot Street Art Galerie. Een plek die inmiddels wereldwijd bekend is. Sinds 2010 vindt hier jaarlijks het evenement 'Step in the Arena' plaats. Tijdens dit evenement worden er door artiesten van over de hele wereld nieuwe kunstwerken gemaakt. In 2018 vindt 'Step in the Aria' plaats op 30 juni en 1 juli.

The Insulindeplein, the Bear Pit in the vernacular, has been officially named Street Art Galery by the municipality of Eindhoven. A place that is worldwide known. Since 2010 the annual event 'Step in the Arena' takes place here. During this event, new works will be made by artists from all over the world. In 2018 'Step in the Aria' takes place on 30 June and 1 July.
